  HANDS DOWN one of the best days out in Australia. I had waited a few years to get on a tour with Sean after first meeting him in 2013 and as soon as I knew I was heading to WA I booked ... months ahead, because that's how far ahead he books up. I learned so much about the region, in a super relaxed way with a fun bunch of people... and the lunch was superb in such an amazing winery. It was exceptional quality over quantity. So much thought goes into Sean's day with you. The big tour buses going in and out of wineries don't know what they're missing! There's a reason why this tour is a Trip Advisor No 1 Classic, so add it to the top of your bucket list.

  Highly recommend this gem of a tour. It's different in all the right ways, can't say enough good things about Sean's knowledge and character. You will have a great time.

  I highly recommend taking a tour with Sean. My girlfriend and I took the Discovery Tour a few weeks ago and we had an exceptional time. It’s not your typical wine tour. You’re in a Land Rover Discovery with Sean for the day going to places that only a 4x4 can go. He will take you slightly out of town into the bush where you’ll make your way down to Margarette River for some kayaking (don’t worry- is easy, optional and you won’t get wet- I was wearing jeans and converse), over the course of the day you will go off road a number of times, seeing the beach, cliffs, bush and wine country. It’s not a wine focused day but there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy some great wines over a gourmet picnic style lunch. My girlfriend and I were the only ones on the tour this day (someone cancelled last minute) and we got lots of behind the scenes access to a great local winery. We had lunch there, had an impromptu tour of the facilities, tested some of their not yet released wine and got to discuss pruning techniques with the viniculturist. Sean clearly had great relationships with the people at each of the stops which made if feel all the more welcoming. We had a great time and have already recommended this tour to friends.   Where do I start? What a tour, and I hate tours! Booked this last minute (like 8pm the night before), and Sean was super helpful and very accommodating. The day started out with a nice relaxing kayak along the Margaret River, and if you're travelled or stressed then this is the best way to begin and unwind. What followed was great coffee at the ocean, a visit to a local waterfall with appreciation of local history and culture, a private wine cellar lunch with gourmet fresh local food and some beautiful wine, and all topped off with a scenic walk along the ocean cliffs with a picture taken by Sean worthy of going straight to the pool room. Thrown into the mix was Sean's faultless knowledge of the local flora and fauna, history, and not to mention wine, after all, this is a wine tour! Whilst this is off-season, and I imagine a private tour like we were so lucky to have is not a common theme during the peak summer period, I can not recommend this enough, and did I mention that I hate tours? Except this is a tour with a twist! If you want to get to know what beautiful surprises Margaret River has to offer then this is for you; whenever I drink a good drop of Margaret River wine my mind will be cast back to the highlights of this special experience.

  Had an awesome day with Sean on the Discovery Tour. He had an in depth knowledge of the area and the people which shines during the day. Highly recommended.
