  I hate sharing bad reviews but feel it is necessary as my experience with Chic Rustique left a negative memory of my wedding. Despite meeting with the owner and being very clear about my requests (I work in corporate events) the staff on the day failed to set up:

  If we could give Chic Rustique 6 stars we would! The service was second to none from the initial enquiry right through to the follow up after the wedding. We had very high expectations (and so did our guests)! We are all hard people to please! We were absolutely wowed and awestruck at what Miriam and her team created for us on our special day. The attention to detail was immaculate and they truly captured the vision that we had dreamed about. We found the team very easy to deal with and communication was great. We expect fast email replies but even if Miriam could not reply straight away with an answer she always said when she would be able to attend to our questions. We would highly recommend this company to all brides and grooms expecting an exception service. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Miriam! Jasmine and Lim xx

  What more, when I alerted the owner to this the following day, she was entirely dismissive. When i asked her backpacker staff sent to set up and pack down the reception the next day, it was clear she did not attend my venue at all on the weekend of my wedding, hence the break down in communication.

  Chic Rustique has styled four major events for the Margaret River Chamber of Commerce and Industry with a fifth one in the making. The themes of the events have ranged from burlesque to western to glitter and gold and now jazz. Working with them is always a pleasure. They're creative, professional and friendly. Event planning can be extremely stressful but with Chic Rustique you know you're in safe hands. I highly recommend them for any function.
